I W O N D E R . . .

And I'm back on my grind
A psychic read my lifeline
Told me in my lifetime
My name would help light up the Chicago skyline
And that's what I'm
Seven o'clock, that's primetime
Heaven'll watch, God calling from the hot lines
Why he keep giving me hot lines
I'm a star, how could I not shine

How many ladies in the house
How many ladies in the house without a spouse
Something in your blouse got me feeling so aroused

What you about
On that independent shit
Trade it all for a husband and some kids
You ever wonder what it all really mean
You ever wonder if you'll find your dreams

"If anything, I feel like if I didn't have a sister who was a huge star, no one would think twice about how I look, because they would have no one to compare it to. I would just be another gal who wears loads of vintage or counts Grace Jones as inspiration. But because I'm Beyoncé's sister, I'm an easy target to say, 'There's no way those two had the same parents, and have one be naturally this way...this has to be a ploy for her to appear cool!' It makes me want to pull out pictures of five-year-old me next to nine-year-old her wearing a tutu over polka dot stockings and an old scarf over my head. It would be so much easier for me to put on a little black dress, straighten my hair, and sing about dancing in the club, but it's not my job to prove anything. I'm here to make music, to inspire myself. I'm not selling my likability, I'm sharing my journeys. If you don't like it, believe it's real, or understand it...then keep my name out of your mouth."

"I think so many hip-hop artists are now jumping on this weird electro bandwagon thinking it will broaden their audience instead of doing what made them them in the first place.[OMG YES!] There's definitely a group of folks in hip-hop like Kanye, Q-Tip, and ?uestlove who know how to appreciate an album like Bitte Orca and see the beauty in it. As for R&B, I'm so bored with it. After being an R&B junkie for years, I actually turned to a lot of indie music because I was just so uninterested [yesssss!]. I grew up loving Missy Elliott, Destiny's Child, SWV, Aaliyah, Carl Thomas, Melody... nowadays that substance and style are kind of dead with the exception of a few."

I wish Solange Knowles was MY older sister. I'd borrow her spiked Louboutin flats, ipod, style secrets, and old Tribe Called Quest cd's.

SUPER W O M A N.

Andrew!

Everyone who loves fashion knows who Kelly Cutrone is. But if you've been living in Alaska for the past 5 years then you need to know that Kelly is the H.B.I.C. Me & my friend literally RAN to Bryant Park today to get a GLIMPSE of our idol, neither one of us expected to get our books SIGNED, a picture & some conversation.

She wrote in my book:
To Tania.
You are the BOMB-BASTIC DELICIOUS Deal of The DIVINE UNIVERSE.

THE CONCERT FROM H E L L.

Everything started off pretty well. Everyone was in good spirits, Hanson came out & rehearsed a song & a 1/2, a man rumored to be J. Cole came out, Ninjasonik KILLED his "set", and everyone was patiently waiting for Drake.

We arrived at about 5 o' clock but around 7 people were getting restless. I saw a record-breaking 10 fights, 1 table thrown, 1 girl laid out on concrete, about 10 cop cars, and I heard 2 men threaten to shoot. Oh, and I was hit in the chest with a plastic bottle.

Okay whoever said it was a riot was exaggerating but it CERTAINLY was pretty damn near it. I saw MTV & FOX news attempting to get interviews of victims...it was pretty heavy. Even though we didn't even get a GLIMPSE of DRAKE & I almost got beat up by some hood girl from BROOKLYN named Shakiylah this was definitely for the books.
